Any circuit that is added to a vehicle should be fused as close to the battery or fuse box as possible. The amount of “load” or “amperage draw” and the size of your wiring will determine what size fuse and fuse holder needed. Our 16GA “Add-A-Fuse” holder is great for small to medium projects (up to 20A) and uses a MINI fuse. The fuse location closest to the prongs is used for the factory circuit and the fuse location further away from the prongs is for your added output.
